This anointing oil was the first oil I made by the instruction of Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit instructed me to make my own anointing oil for an assignment in Pennsylvania. Holy Spirit instructed me to dip my shofar in the ocean. The day I went there were thunderstorms. By the time I had reached the beach it was still storming and I was unsure how I was going to do this. I asked the Lord for help and soon after the storm stopped. I went down to the water and the waves were intense, I went in and dipped my shofar in the ocean in ankle deep water. I asked the Lord why did He have me do this. Lord told me, salt purifies. The next day I made the oil and poured the oil in my shofar, the oil spilled out on the floor. Our entire home was filled with the glory of the Lord. I looked over to talk to my husband and he was out in the glory. I knelt down on the floor not knowing what to do in that moment. I asked the Lord what He would have me do with the oil on the floor. The Lord instructed me to use paper towels to soak up the oil and use them as prayer cloths.
Shofar anointing oil is made and then poured into a shofar and then poured into the bottles. Prior to oil being placed into the shofar under the guidance of the Holy Spirit the shofar was cleaned, dipped into the ocean for purification from the salt as a prophetic act and then dried and anointed with oil.
Shofar oil is made with myrrh, which was a highly valued spice and was given as a gift when the three wise men visited Jesus(Matthew 2:11). Queen Esther was purified using myrrh oil for the first six months in preparation for her to meet the king(Esther 2:12). Myrrh was also an ingredient in the holy anointing oil used to consecrate the Tabernacle and the Ark of the Covenant(Exodus 30:25-38).
Kings were anointed as chosen by God using myrrh and salt along with other specified ingredients according to Exodus 30:35.
The shofar or ram's horn was used in the Bible to announce a king and to rally the people for battle as Joshua did to bring down the walls of Jericho(Joshua 6:20).
